The legislation which authorized the National Parks Quarters program also included authorization to produce silver bullion investment coins which are exact duplicates of each National Park Quarter. These coins each contain 5 ounces of .999 fine silver.
The National Park Silver Bullion coins have a diameter of 3.0 inches and weight 5.0 ounces. Each coin is minted in .999 fine silver. Each coin features incused edge lettering which will indicate the fineness and weight of the bullion coin. The coins will only be issued in the five ounce size. No fractional or smaller sizes will be minted.
