The 1946-P Roosevelt Dime had a mintage of 255,250,000. These coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition. The composition of these coins is 90% silver and 10% copper. Each of these Roosevelt Dimes contain .0723 troy ounces of silver. The diameter of these coins is 17.91 mm. The silver content dimes were minted from 1946 - 1964. After 1964 the dimes were minted with a nickel/clad composition. The designer was John Sinnock who also designed several other U.S. Coins. These Silver Roosevelt Dimes were minted at the Philadelphia mint.
