The 2020-S National Park of American Samoa Quarter from the San Francisco Mint. The American Samoa National Park Quarter is the first release of 2020 and the 51st overall in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program. Each of these coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition.
Production of these coins was halted suddenly due to the onset of COVID in the spring of 2020. Only 955,145 of these coins were made across all options at the mint. Only 4,236 (100) coin bags were made, 12,904 rolls and 15,385 coins in the 3-coin set. This leaves less than 400,000 coins approx. to satisfy individual coin collector demands, with all the 3-coin sets staying intact, and the majority of the 12,904 rolls staying as rolls and not being broken open, and some of the 100 coin bags not being broken up. This is why the price is so high. There just aren't that many left out there.

I have an unbroken US Mint roll
Posted by Sierra-Legacy Avila on Oct 26th 2023
I bought a roll of this particular quarter from the mint in 2020 carrying the 'S' mint mark. Still in it's original roll wrap. I had a feeling this would be a key date or rare quarter.
