Denver struck 22,580,000 cents in 1925, and circulated examples remain affordable at roughly $1.50–$2, with mid-grade pieces in the $8–$30 range and uncirculated coins at $88–$149 (USA Coin Book). The scarcity is at the top: PCGS estimates only about 160 survivors at MS65 or better across all colors — fewer than 2,000 uncirculated pieces of any kind survive from the whole mintage.

That makes the 1925-D a quiet condition rarity: common in an album hole, tough in true mint state.
