The
Lincoln Cent is the current one cent coin of the United States. It was adopted in 1909, replacing the Indian Head Cent. Its obverse, featuring a bust of Abraham Lincoln (to commemorate his centennial), has been in continuous usage. Its reverse was changed in 1959 from a wheat stalks design to a design which includes the Lincoln Memorial (to commemorate Lincoln's sesquicentennial) and was replaced again in 2009 with four new designs to commemorate Lincoln's bicentennial. There are more one-cent coins produced than any other denomination, which makes the Lincoln Cent a familiar item. The obverse is the longest design used for any circulating American design.
The 1927-D Lincoln Wheat Penny had a mintage of 27,170,000. These 1927-D Lincoln Cent coins are 95% copper and 5% zinc and tin. Each of these coins have a diameter of 19mm. We use strict Photograde standards when grading all of our coins. You can view...
I collect these for myself and my daughter. I look forward to getting the new one each year. This site, U. S. State Quarters, has been the most reliable source to do this. Their cost and service is dependable. This makes my annual search easy.

Very Grateful Nun
I work at a Convent and one of the Sisters(Nuns) came to me and asked if I could "keep my eye out" for a few State quarters to complete her longtime collection. As if I would somehow be coming across a Samoa Territory, North Mariana Island Quarter any time soon. A quick search brought me to your company. Quick order, so quick I made a mistake that you quickly corrected for me. The shipment came quickly and She was DELIGHTED! Thank you so much. In life, it is the little things we do for people that mean the most. You allowed me to do the impossible for our Sister. She is forever grateful. Thanks Joe Assante
