The 1896 Barber Dime had a mintage of just 2,000,000. The composition of these coins is 90% silver and 10% copper. Each of these Barber Dimes contain .07234 troy ounces of silver. The diameter of these coins is 17.9mm, and they were minted from 1892 - 1916. The designer was the chief engraver for the U.S. Mint, Charles E. Barber. This silver dime was minted at the Philadelphia mint.
