The 1959-D Franklin Half Dollar had a mintage of just 13,053,750. The composition of these coins is 90% silver and 10% copper. Each of these Franklin Half Dollars contain .36169 troy ounces of silver. The diameter of these coins is 30.6mm, and they were minted from 1948 - 1963. The designer was John Sinnock who also designed the dime a few years earlier. We use strict Photograde standards when grading all of our coins.
