The 2001 American Silver Eagle graded by NGC as MS69. The obverse design features an ever hopeful Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes carrying in her arms branches of laurel and oak to symbolize both civil and military glory. The reverse design, by United States Mint sculptor John Mercanti, features a striking heraldic eagle with shield, and olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left.
Love your site. Very easy to use. Excellent prices and excellent variety of coins. Bought the Silver Eagle for one of my grandsons. He was born in 2001,Cannot afford to buy a third of what I really want but I will continue ordering a little at a time. Some silver bars and some 1964 Kennedy halves are next on my order list.
