Who is Juliette Gordon Low? She was born October 31, 1860 in Savannah, Georgia, and is known for her lifelong dedication to empowering girls and young women. In 1912 rooting from insirpation from the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides in England she created the American version know as Girl Scouts for America. The first meeting was held in her hometown with 18 young women.
