Barber Dimes were minted from 1892 - 1916 and was designed by the chief engraver of the United States Mint, Charles E. Barber. These coins are 90% silver and 10% copper and have a reeded edge. The silver content of these coins is .07234 troy ounces, making these Barber Dimes very popular with silver coin collectors. These coins were minted at the Denver, New Orleans, San Francisco and Philadelphia mints.
