The 1954-P Franklin Half Dollar had a mintage of just 13,188,202. The composition of these coins is 90% silver and 10% copper. Each of these Franklin Half Dollars contain .36169 troy ounces of silver. The diameter of these coins is 30.6mm, and they were minted from 1948 - 1963. The designer was John Sinnock who also designed the dime a few years earlier. We use strict Photograde standards when grading all of our coins. I have had excellent results dealing with U S State Quarters. When I decided to build a collection of Franklin Half Dollars, I ordered a whole set of MS 63 P coins. I was once again highly pleased with the selections.
