The obverse features a bold portrait of President Donald J. Trump by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Joseph Menna, with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the dual date 1776~2026. The reverse displays the Presidential Seal design by former Chief Engraver Frank Gasparro, with the eagle's shield bearing the number 250 in honor of the Semiquincentennial.
A portion of the mintage was struck on July 4, 2026 with a special July 4th privy mark and released randomly into circulation rolls – every coin is a chance at one of these sought-after varieties.
