1951-D Franklin Half Dollars

The 1951-D Franklin Half Dollar had a mintage of just 9,475,200. The composition of these coins is 90% silver and 10% copper. Each of these Franklin Half Dollars contain .36169 troy ounces of silver. The diameter of these coins is 30.6mm, and they were minted from 1948 - 1963. The designer was John Sinnock who also designed the dime a few years earlier. We use strict Photograde standards when grading all of our coins. In addition all of our brilliant uncirculated coins are higher end in condition.
